Here are some tips to help you create strong passwords and protect your digital assets.

 

Firstly, let's define what makes a password strong; A strong password should be complex, unique, and difficult to guess. It should contain a mix of upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols, and should not contain easily guessed information like your name, birthdate, or favorite sports team. If you find it challenging to come up with complex passwords for all your accounts, you should consider using a password manager. These are handy tools that can help generate strong, unique passwords and store them securely for you, while saving you from the headache of trying to remember multiple passwords.


Next, avoid using the same password for multiple accounts. If one of your accounts using the same password gets compromised, all your remaining accounts using that same password could be at risk. Treat each account like its own fortress, with a strong, unique, and secure password. And lastly, don't forget the power of a passphrase. A passphrase is a phrase that's easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess. For example, "MyFirstDogIsFluffyAndCute" is much harder to guess than "Password12345" but still easy to remember for you.

 

By following these tips, you can create strong passwords that will help protect your online accounts and personal information. Remember, your digital security is in your hands, so take the time to fortify your defenses with strong passwords and stay one step ahead of cyber threats.

I remember asking my friend about the term ‘quantum computing’. For me at the time, it was just a new word, a new world, maybe too far from the one I existed in, so I wanted to understand it.
